Accepting a bid from Singapore.

Hi, I have a item that already has bids. It is listed with all shipping options available Worldwide, Global Shipping & my own options including including all countries in Asia etc etc.

However, a potential bidder from Singapore cannot bid on this item despite all the above.

The bidder received the following message:

"We are sorry, but the item you selected may not be purchased due to seller shipping restrictions or due to country-specific import/export or other relevant restrictions".

When I indicated I had no such restrictions, the response was:

"My country has no such restrictions. You can check with eBay how to resolve this issue of allowing Singapore bidders to bid. I had advised the seller to do this before and it worked. eBay will reply that it is the seller who imposed such restriction and you asked them how to update to include Singapore bidders".

Anybody any ideas what can be done?

Is there an eBay phone-help line? All attempts to use 'Automated Help' merely send me round in circles.

Kind Regards to all

I looked a few of your record listings, it says you post to Singapore yourself, not through GSP.

It may an issue with type of item being import to Singapore.

Hi tobiasd4,

On the listing, everything is selected. Giving the Customer the ultimate choice. I think it must be your second point, but the Customer indicates not. The item number is 326468601660 & this is the 1st time I have encountered this.

Item says you post to Singapore.

Try adding buyers ID to exemption list.

Hi tobiasd4

I forgot to thank you for your quick response, by the way: Many thanks!

OK, I've just done as instructed.

Are you any the wiser why the Customer is encountering difficulties?

Kind Regards
