We are eBay Pharmacy seller operating out of the UK. We are a registered UK pharmacy and meet all GPHC council pharmacy
We joined eBay in February and have been selling since but we have been restricted nearly 7 times. This time our restriction is 10 days and are unable to sell anything.
Our account gets restricted because eBay deems some items as prescription only when they are in actual fact able to be sold over the counter in the UK. Frustratingly, when we appeal these items eBays leadership team helps get the appeals overturned in most cases but not every case despite clearly providing all evidence that items are allowed to be sold in the UK over the counter.
A good example is Paramol, a painkiller that is widely available to purchase online from a registered pharmacy such as a ourself or over the counter in any UK pharmacy.
Now, we were once again restricted for a different product and our account was restricted. Other eBay sellers are openly selling it, i even reported one of the listings that's exactly the same as ours but eBay rejected our report and didnt remove the listing. We were removed fo the very same product.
What can we do to get reinstated? It's so difficult because 10 day selling restrictions are putting immense financial pressure on us as we still have to pay rent, salaries and suppliers but with no income for 10 days minimum.
Is there any help or advice somebody could give us? We are struggling and have contemplated leaving the platform entirely because we cant manage these issues whilst having invested so much and with overheads killing us at the same time.
