3 times unpaid

I have a strange one, as I’ve not experienced it before, but wonder if there is an increase of Bots, or fake buyers for unknown reasons.

I’m selling a watch. It’s a Michael Kors watch, nothing fancy, nothing super expensive at all.

Ive listed it now 3 times, each time it has had a few bids and a successful sale, but all 3 times to different sellers I’ve not been paid?

Ive contacted the buyers on wash occasion and been ignored. I begrudge listing again as I feel it will keep happening - three times is slightly weird to now be paid right?

any advice or experiences similar?

Re: 3 times unpaid

Is it the same buyer?

If not I cannot comment on the coincidence of 3 non payments on the same item, only to say have you cancelled the order each time after 4 days before relisting citing Buyer Has Not Paid?

This gives the non payer a well deserved non payment strike.  If they gain 2 then they cannot buy from the majority of sellers for a full 12 months.  If they keep gaining strikes,  eBay will boot them off their site.

Always block non payers too.

Perhaps if this happens again,  relist the item as a Fixed Price Buy it Now, and select Immediate Payment.

Very odd, especially as all your winning bidders have established feedback records. Usually, behaviour of this sort is associated with zero feedback members, either attempting a scam or targeting a seller maliciously.

I take it that you have used eBay's unpaid item procedure to cancel these sales? If not, see: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/payment-policies/unpaid-item-policy?id=4271

This will immediately cancel the sale. Neither party can leave feedback; any already left can be removed. The buyer will receive an unpaid item strike for not paying, which will stay on their account for a year. Two strikes mean that most sellers will automatically block them from bidding.

To add non-payers to your blocked bidders list and prevent them from sending you messages, see: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences
