I cannot contact the purchaser and cannot find any way to contact ebay by email

it's not the websites fault you purchased as a guest!

if you want items to appear in your purchase list you have to log in and purchase using that account,

when you purchased the item you will have received an email, the details of the seller will be in that.

Guest purchase by their very nature are not registered to an eBay account.

 Follow this link to get help with guest purchases if still unable to complete a claim then find your transaction in Paypal and claim with them.
