I had an email today from ebay advising me that someone had signed in to my account from another device from miles away with a link to change my password. Is this a scam

All messages from ebay come through your messages on your my ebay

Dont click on any links if it is in your personal emails

To be safe change your password

Keep a close eye on your account 

Did the message come come from ebay and if so what did the email say to do
