A seller has mistakenly left me negative feedback intended for another of his buyers, he contacted me immediately after realising his mistake and has told me he cannot correct it from his end until I request a feedback revision. I have found the relevant section but cannot find a way of actually sending it - the pages just seem to go around in circles!
adding to the advice already given -
your seller is heading for a nasty surprise as 25% of their first page of feedback left for buyers is false positives.
Neither you nor your seller can change this "false positive" feedback. Sellers are not allowed to leave anything except positive feedback and positive comments for buyers.
To get this comment removed, you will need to waste what could be quite a lot of your time trying to contact eBay customer support. They will remove it, and your seller will be penalised for feedback policy violation.
During the pandemic, eBay customer support is limited to callback or live chat: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/contact_us?id=4814&st=10
feedback revision is for feedback left by buyers
the sellers feedback is positive and cannot be revised, you can report it to ebay and they may remove it.
The seller should not leave negative comments for you or any other buyers
It is against ebay policy
You need to report it and get it removed

Top right of the page under Seller help and the option to request feedback removal should come up
