A "new" phone I bought for my son was suddeny blacklisted by another network provider after 3 months use. I complained to vendor who did nothing at first, then requested I return it to them. I did so and they fobbed me off, complaining that the screen was cracked [my son dropped it]. I raised a case with Ebay since they advertised the phone as new but it clearly wasn't - the blacklisting was done by Vodaphone and we've never had a Vodaphone contract. This can only happen because of a previous owner. 8 weeks later Ebay won't tell me if/when the case will be resolved, and the vendor refuses to deal with my complaint until case is resolved. I also complained to Paypal. They didn't hear back from vendor and the app timed out as I was trying to escalate to a claim 10 minutes before deadline. There appears to be no way to get the case re-opened. So we have had no phone ata ll for more than 2 months and I'm £249 + £7.50 p&p out of pocket. What can I do?
