Can anyone tell me how to contact eBay please? Preferably during the day. I need help with a problem that has been previously misunderstood by eBay. I was lucky enough to contact an eBay rep in America last week who understood, he passed it on to a UK rep who suggested I keep my returns request open when I do not want to return as it will cost more than the items worth. I tried to reply to the the UK rep to explain this from my email where she contacted me but it wouldn’t send, I don’t think my items will arrive as had problems with the seller before and want to be able to open a ‘not received request’, if I need to. ... I've just input this in the 255 chars or thereabouts allowed in the chat box which quelle surprise is unattended and no visible means of contacting ebay.   A) I buy a few knick-knacks now and then and try and leave feedback. Sadly ebay seems intent on making it as heavy and **bleep** a job as possible demanding it seems a mini essay in the text box. Frankly I generally don't have time and want to input just i) it arrived on time and ii) positive. (If it's tending to a negative I always contact seller first; can't recall leaving a negative for years if at all). Only if it is neutral or negative should some justification be necessary in the text box imo for feedback to be accepted by the system.   B) I'd like to see total cases for buyer/seller where no feedback was left, not just positives, neutrals and negatives.   I may be overlooking something but that's the gist.  Just too much hassle, which in turn will mean: less feedback will be left.   How can that be communicated to ebay? ... I would like to buy something that is fragile which the seller has listed as collection only to avoid risk of transit damage. After appropriate discussion, can I formally take on the risk of damage through ebay procedure i.e. no risk to the seller, or would this have to be a gentlman's agreement. The item is not costly. ... So that I found out how to shop on Ebay and still make money on it. I am very disappointed and especially upset. The customer orders the goods and knows that the goods are already on their way to the address. After a week on Ebay, he enters to refund him because of the item he bought. He found out he bought it by mistake. On Ebay, they respect this and hurt the seller that they will block his funds and may restrict sales. From Ebay I will write to you if the item does not reach you on the back to the seller page the case is still open and you are losing popularity on Facebook. Well I'm disappointed because Ebay mainly has funds with sellers. So that, as a seller, I do not remember that I would put in the label that no one has a week to think. In my opinion, the customer is probably the slippers of his wife. Because his wife figured out why he was buying an item when she wanted to buy something to wear? So that asy somehow. It is a shame on Ebay not to stop the sellers who make them money and advocate illiteracy, who do not even know what they are buying and then buy something by mistake. Next time I buy an item for £ 1000 or ask Ebay. for a refund and I'll tell her I bought it by mistake. This is probably normal here in the United Kingdom. I'm not signing up for the new payment scheme because: 1. I'm not giving eBay direct link to by bank details or declaring my bank to eBay. 2. For weeks now I have been getting messages from potential buyers posted on my items for sale. However, when I click on items with messages on the appalling new hub eBay have forced us to use, I cannot read the message sent. This is totally counter productive in helping me sell anything as it means I cannot communicate with with my potential buyers as I have no idea what they're asking. When I contacted eBay, they said it was a technical issue and that they had been working to sort it out for weeks. This company is making millions if not billions of pounds out of us. Why is is it that they can't afford the expertise to sort these kind of issues out. Hi   I am in Australia but I am getting emails that someone with the same name as me is ordering stuff and its being shipped to a UK address. They must be using my email address, but I don't think they are fraudulently logged on as me.   I cannot see any way to contact eBay UK - hopeless!   Anyone else experienced this?   TIA ... why are the fees so much more expensive now and why is there a 10% fee on postage, sdhould i charge more postage to cover this? ... View more
