Recently bought a part for my car, all details supplied by me eg. part numbers etc correct. Part arrived very quickly and part fitted to car. Part supplied is not correct when seen fitted to the car. Spoke to the supplier and they admit that in review they had supplied the wrong part (part very similar but not correct). They now say they cannot supply the correct part. Cost of fitment to the car was £100. Supplier has offered to re fund cost of part. Question, is it possible to claim compensation for the fitting cost from them as when I source the correct part it will cost me another £100 for fitment? Comments welcome please. Thanks.

Hey All, I run a modelling and hobby store and decided to start selling through ebay to help tick over stock. I listed a range of hobby knives. Just small handy little scalpel like knives thar are already very widely sold on ebay. I sold a batch no problems. Got some more in and they got pulled due to knife policy. Spoke to a live chat advisor who said there had been an error and that he would relist them as the " computer " had markes it incorrectly. After this the listing went through no problems. Now ive just got more in and have listed them only to be hit yet again with the same policy but this time more harsh saying we have warned you before on this and you account has been suspended for 3 days. Is there anything i can do about this as its crippling my sales ?

Hi, Where is the 'ask ebay to step' in tab? The system seems to have changed. I have started a return and the seller has provided an address written in Chinese, although the the item was posted from the UK. I've asked for the UK address several times, but the seller is not cooperating. I'm trying to ask ebay to resolve the issue but keep being taken to the 'progress of return' page with no option to start a dispute. Thanks, Jackie

Hello, I have troble with log in to my account since 2 days. When I try to log there is information: Email us using the link below with the code 88*********. This is not the same verification code as the one you use to verify your eBay account. Has anyone dealed with situation like this? Ebay service is not helping me with this issue.

Hi guys, would really appreciate some help as the buyer collected an item but we didn't scan the qr code as they couldn't get it up on their eBay. They have sent us a confirmation message as proof through ebay but I can't seem to mark the item as collected. Any help on how I can get this item marked as collected would be great thanks Lauren

A seller claimed that I had sold them a counterfeit item (I haven't) so I said I wouldn't refund as the item was sold in good faith. eBay however agreed with the seller and have confirmed that they will take £54 out of my bank account although I the item hasn't been returned to me. Surely this is theft? The buyer now has her full refund and the item in her possession whilst I have nothing...surely this can't be right?

Hi, I've had a business purchase computer hardware from me & they've asked me to provide additional specific details to their invoice (e.g. tax registration number). I can find how to modify the template (mostly your own details & whether to include certain information or not from the buyer e.g. phone number etc.), but cannot see a way to add additional information that the buyer has requested. Is this possible to do this in ebay? Thanks in advance Christian
