I have had a huge issue with eBay for several weeks as they closed my shop because I did not provide a VAT exemtion certificate even though my sales are of car parts which are not VAT exempt. They reinstated my shop after almost two weeks but not my listings and have left me almost bancrupt as a resullt, as my company is now in danger of a forced closure. I have asked repeatidly for a complaints procedured and help which has been ignored, I have tried to submit an official complaint by telephone and was told it would be dealt with within 72 hours! that was over a week ago. I have been given a wrong address to write to in Ireland and so have been unable to put my issues in writing to someone who may be able to help, I have had promises of my listings being reinstated, and also of a return call from a superviser / manager which have all been totally ignored and not followed up on. I have always been a top rated seller who pays ebay approximately £2000 every month for the privalage of no support what so ever whilst taking a solitary wage myself for all my hard work.
If anyone knows a way to contact a real human preferably in the UK or Ireland I would be grateful as I really dont know what else to do at ths point as eBay make it so hard to find real support and is should be ashamed of themselves for this.
Thank you in advance for any help or support you can offer
Regards
Paul
are you VAT registered?
if so, why isn't your VAT number showing on your listings?
if you didn't provide a VAT number ebay will ask you for a VAT exemption certificate if your sales and listings take you close the the VAT limit
