eBay ID change

In January 2005 I set-up an eBay account with a chosen ID. A few weeks later I changed that ID to another and succesfully traded up until 5 weeks ago, when all of a sudden and without warning the ID has now reverted to the original. There are items listed which I cannot remove, or even sell, as I can't login as the original email address no longer exists and my home address has long been changed.

you don't need the email address to log in

log out of the wrong account and log back in using your normal ebay ID and password

I cannot login to the original account because eBay have suspended it, and are asking to reset a password. The password reset would be sent to the email address assigned to that account. So, without access to the original email address, It is not possible to reset the password, and then do as you suggest. – Regards
