I purchased a tap in December 2020 which came back with 180 day refund guarantee plus lifetime parts guarantee. Tap was fitted late January and a couple of weeks later it was seeping. Contacted seller who sent a video to solve problem. Did as video showed and several days later tap seeped again. Again contacted seller no response. My last email to them was 17th February 2021 and this was totally ignored. Had tap repaired at further expense. Problem had now happened 3 times. Last week the whole of the inside of spout fell out so water now comes out at an angle splashing everything. I tried to contact seller through every avenue available, ie via my order, purchase history and on the Ebay where the owner is still selling. As soon as I send email, message comes back No contact can be made. Took this up with Ebay immediately who asked for all details of my purchase which I sent. I have now received email saying they cannot do anything and indicating I should contact seller via purchase history which I had already told Ebay I had tried to do. I am so annoyed. I am a pensioner and can ill afford the extra expense this has caused me. Plus my email to the 17th February 2021 was within the 180 day period shown on site when I purchased it and the seller just chose to ignore my emails. I am more annoyed that Ebay are not assisting more particularly when the seller is still on site. I feel sure if I could contact the seller maybe this could be sorted but no matter what I do I cannot contact them as I get a negative message back when I send. The Appeal section on Ebay even advised that the police would be able to assist but there is no way I am going to report such a silly thing to the police when this is about aftersales care and attention. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. In the past I have not been able to fault Ebay but I do feel they have not done enough to assist in this regard. If they could contact the seller on my behalf and get their thoughts on the situation that would be a help but at the moment I have no where else to go with this.
