abuse of ebay account

Hi.

Someone has abused my account and bought lots of stuff 😞

How can I call ebay from Denmark? The number provided (0345 355 3229) does not show the area code??

"03" numbers are generic non-geographical numbers in the UK and cost the same as any other landline number.

You should still be able to call from Denmark [though at what cost I know not] using 0044 345 and so on.  Take out the first "0" in other words

Report to eBay that your someone as used your account (use help & contact to do that)

Change all your passwords (eBay, paypal + possibly email)

Contact your bank

Update your computer security (Unsecured devices are an invitation to hackers)

Check all your eBay and Paypal details

Accounts can often be hacked by an email pretending to be from somebody its not. If you click a link in these emails, hackers can gain access to your information. Best just to check any messages on the site in question.

Also, when using any site that requires you to log in, Don't Use public Wi-fi

Use the Help and Contact Tab at the Top of your Summary Page. Type in 'Hacked Account.'  You will get an option for a Call Back. Change all your Passwords.

I changed the password, but I am not getting the option of a call back - just the phone number??

What site did you originally register on? Ebay.com ? If yes then you probably need to sign out of the UK Ebay and do it through the American site.
