I order the item on the 18th and the seller that has good feedback has not put my item in the post . I  order in on Monday so as it would have plenty of time to arrive at Argos this Saturday. Because the seller has not bothered to put it in the post it won't arrive for Saturday

The seller states that they post within 1 working day, and they may well have done that, but just forgotten to mark as despatched. Or he may have posted your item on his way home and not had chance to mark it as despatched.

You cannot say it won't arrive by saturday - you cannot possibly know that.

You are way too early to start complaining as the item is not due to arrive till thursday.That's THURSDAY - 2 days BEFORE saturday. You haven't even given the seller a chance yet.
