We noticed recent sign in activity on your ebay account using a new device? Does this mean that someone has tried to get into my account and not succeeded or that they have been successful?

Can anyone help explain what it means?

It means what it says - that sign-in activity on your account has been noted on a different device to the one you normally use.

This is a very common alert, if you have changed your connected device or used someone else's to log in.

If you haven't done so then yes, it could indicate that someone else had attempted to log in to yuor account.

It can be due to using a different device like a phone,or tablet etc to sign into ebay,otherwise its likely a Fraudulent email/message which you should delete if it is not showing in your ebay messages or private email address,and  adresses you by your real name

Partially helpful. I did contact ebay support but the problem still has not been solved. Every time I log in I immediately also get a similar message in ebay messages and by email with differing locations. Each one addresses me by name and not the usual "lindyput miniatures". Also when I logged in this morning I was taken to the USA site with all prices in dollars and could not access the Seller hub. I have just forwarded the latest message to "Spoof".
