Unavailable item in purchase history

I am seeing some recent items in my purchase history listed as "unavailable" "(removed item)" and also going a bit further back in my purchase history ALL items are listed as "unavailable" why is this....I often need to go back to review items and sometimes wish to buy more but clicking on these items does not bring up any details?

This  ' unavailable'  is stating the item has been sold.

Now , eBay are thinking it now helps the buyer Not to view  the ended item but a ' similar item'  still for sale.  Some of these ' similar' choices are dubious to say the least!

You can still bring up the ended item,  click on ' original ended listing'  and then on the word listing in the blue / brown coloured banner along the top.
