Unable to bid or make offer

Having had an offer time out on me, I'm now unable to bid on it or re-offer. All I get is "Sorry, you're not allowed to purchase this item.This item is only available to buyers who haven't purchased or more items from this seller in the past 10 days." Needless to say I haven't purchased any items from the seller and sounds like a glitch in the system. Anyone else experienced this?

You don't say the asking price of the item or what you offered.

Many sellers if they get a poor offer, will block a bidder as a time waster.

Well, I offered the minimum bid value, ie treating it like "Buy now". Thought he'd appreciate a quick sale as no other bidders to date.

He's wasted more of my time than me his!

Looks like I was blocked. A counter offer was what I'd expected, he'd have likely made a quick sale then. As it was he didn't get a sale.

@tressygirl is probably correct,but it could also be the seller has now blocked you from buying from them,as its not unheard of.Plenty more sellers in the sea however.

Not sure why they would, but I've contacted them anyway. If I get no response you could be correct.

Sellers do have various blocks in place ..... members buying more than ** item in a set period of time, those that perhaps ask one too many question, unpaid item cases resulting in strikes, and also sellers can block messages getting through, might just be best to find another seller selling this item.

There isn't one, unfortunately. I can understand the first block (could be a trader selling on at a higher price) but it doesn't apply in this case.

You haven't used your account for buying much recently,  so you may just have hit your limit for bidding / making offers.  

3 offers is usually the max on any one item.  

Or,  it could just be a glitch,  might just be worth trying a little later.

Use it on average once or twice a week, never hit a limit before.
