Tired of all these Scammers on ebay

What can we do with all of these Scammers here on ebay.Years ago everything was much better,but now i think to many are aloud to sell on ebay and make profit without sending items that you have ordered.I am so tired of always complaining to customer service about these Scammers,what can we do to stop them.torbehanse-87.

The answer ebay would give is that buyers are protected by the Money Back Guarantee, and it is only by carelessness on the part of a buyer that they can lose any money.

In fact using the MBG properly it can be made rather expensive for rogue sellers with paypal fees not being refundable.

Howver ebay could do more and take notice of reports but unfortunately they are probably drowned in reports many of which are inaccurate and just wasting their time. Lack of knowledge by CS staff does not help.

About a year ago I reported a Live Cat which was listed for sale, nothing happened so I tried Live Chat. Passed to 4 different people before I got through to someone that live animals are not allowed to be sold.

Hi John.Yes i think your right that we are protected.But waiting about 3 months for nothing is a waist of time,so customers will find another solution on other dealsites,where shipping time is about 1 month.I still like ebay but as i wrote not the same problems other places,so wake up ebay,prices are okay but shipping time and Scammers are a big problem.torbehanse-87.

Yes it certainly is a lot worse than it has ever been. I am horrified by the Number of Complaints we receive on here on a daily basis. Covid may have a lot to do with it?

Yes maybe,but ebay have to change the rules for sellers,it is to easy for them cheating and stealing on ebay platform.I do not have the same problems on other dealsites,so ebay must take action.torbehanse-87.
