Three failed Deliveries due to Customer not at home.

I am new to selling.

I sent package via Hermes via Ebay Parcel link with signed for delivery selected, but due to customer not being there after three attempts,  tracking now says item delayed.

Understand item from items online, that it will be returned to me, but my address was not on preprinted label that I printed off parcelink site.

Obviously Ebay and Parcel link know my address, do they inform Hermes?

Also is there a charge, if so how do I pay it?

Can't seem to find the answer on Hemes or Ebay, also automated help no good for this issue.

Any help would be appreciatted.

You should ALWAYS put your own address on parcels in case of a return.

EBay won't inform Hermes of your address. It's possible that packlink may; good luck, but I doubt it.

It's really exasperating when parcels can't be delivered, especially as you then have to refund your buyer in full.
