Hi everyone,
I recently returned an item tracked delivery to a seller after it wasnt as described and now that the seller has received it he is saying that I have been problematic since the start and that I haven't returned the full item and now
opened a case against the refund. This is a very expensive item and all I have is picture of the item inside the box before packaging. Would this be enough? As Im now worried I wont get the refund.
The difficulty is that you should have used the label supplied by the seller or - if you used your own label - you need to contact eBay through help and contact [above] to get them to put in your tracking. As @ruby*tuesday says when the tracking shows delivery [and whatever the seller says] you should get a full refund.
Ebay's Message saying "A Decision will be made in 48 hours" is standard. The Seller can say what he likes. Ebay support the Buyer 99% of the time. You certainly got a very poor Seller there. Don't use them again.
Have you done this through an EBay Returns Case? If so EBay will Fully Refund you when the Tracking Confirms Delivery or Attempted Delivery back to the Seller. If you didn't use an EBay Label you need to add the Tracking Number into the Case.
The Seller cannot open a Case against you. Sellers cannot leave Buyers any Negative Feedback either.
I had opened a return case against the seller and he had accepted it but didn’t give me a label so I used my own royal mail tracked delivery which is showing as delivered. I then got a message saying my return will be given before the 7th of April. Then I received another message saying the seller had contacted customer services about the refund and that they will make a decision in 2 days. I have no option to submit evidence that it was posted.
Also tracking was updated on ebay.
Oh brilliant so pleased it all worked out ok. The Seller was doing his utmost to put you off pursuing the Returns Case. Well done for not letting him scare you off.
