Hello,
Anyone know what options I have when a seller just cancel an auction after it ended for the very obvious
reason that it didnt fetch the price he wanted? I bidded and won an auction for a record I have been wanting
for many years, was in contact day after and all seemed fine, I sent the money, checked correct adress and everything was set to him for sending me my record that I bought..then, he send me message (on facebook)
all of a sudden that "he will refund me the money and cant sell the record to me cause its not his and the guy owning it think the auction ended too low", I was shocked, truly shocked...everything can happen in life, i understand it all but this..??!!!!
So, what options do I have here? What can I do and who do I contact?
Very thankful, best regards from Sweden
This is bad selling, but there's nothing to enforce a seller to post a winning item, eBay do not condone this.
If a cancellation request was sent citing ' Buyer requests to cancel', contact eBay Customer services, and tell them this is not the case. They will charge the seller a seller fee, and give them a damaging defect on their account.
It does not take many defects to boot a Private seller off eBay permanently.
eBay do not like unhappy buyers.
