So I have processed a return on an item by printing a return label via ebay. I have already sent it out two days ago and the item has made its way to the buyer.
The only issue I'm having at the moment is confirming on my end that the item has been distpatched.Clicking on the 'Mark as dispatched' on the 'You started a return' page, having filled out and confirming the details, I was left with a message stating 'The tracking number you have provided already exists in our system. Please use a valid tracking number for this return'.
As I have not yet confirmed dispatch in the knowlege that the item is already with the buyer, will this affect the process refund process on the buyers end?
As you have used the provided ebay label, there is no need to mark as dispatched, its only if you use an alternate method.
When you posted the item, eBays system should have updated itself automatically but the system as been extremely slow lately.
Track the item yourself & if delivered & if the seller hasn't refunded, Phone eBay.
