SELLER RATINGS ARE NOT REALISTIC OR FAIR

SELLER RATING IS A JOKE, I KEEP GETTING STUPID EMAILS FROM EBAY SAYING I MUST IMPROVE WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE AS APART FROM A COUPLE OF ITEMS LAST YEAR WHICH WERE DAMAGED BEFORE SENDING SO I CANX ORDERS I NEVER FAIL TO SUPPLY GOOD SERVICE. I ASKED THEM TO BE SENSIBLE AND REMOVE THEM AS IT WAS GOOD SERVICE NOT TO SEND A DEFECTIVE ITEM AS THAT WOULD RAISE COMPLAINT AND A RETURN CLAIM WOULD BE LIKELY?

SO STUPID EBAY PENALISE ME FOR NOT SENDING ITEMS DAMAGED ONE WAS OUT OF DATE, BUT DONT CONSIDER THE ALTERNATIVE OR LOOK AT MY 15 PLUS YEARS SELLING AND BUYINGWITHOUT INCIDENT? SPOKE TO A CALL CENTRE WHICH SOUNDED AS IF IT WAS IN OUTER MONGOLIA BUT SHE WAS STUCK WITH HER SCRIPT, AND WHEN ASKED HOW I COULD POSSIBLY IMPROVE ON 10 MONTHS PLUS OF PERFECT TRADE 99% POSITIVE FEEDBACK SHE JUST KEPT SAYING I MUST IMPROVE?????????????????? AARGH. IS THIS ANOTHER SIGN EBAY IS GETTING ABOVE ITSELF, I REALLY AM THINKING OF TELLING THEM TO STUFF IT AS THEY CHARGE SO MUCH NOW IN FEES IF YOU SELL A CHEAP ITEM ITS HARD TO MAKE MUCH ANYWAY. WELL RANT OVER ANYONE AGREE WITH ME OR HAD SIMILAR ISSUES.........................

The main problem is probably the two negatives.  They are quite old and will "drop out" after the 12 months.  I believe that you could have had one removed by eBay where buyer refused to return.  

 

If it happens again it is best to advise the buyer not just to "return" but to "open a case in the resolution centre".  That way - if you deal with it without fuss - you get your fees back and do not get a defect.  Never argue with a buyer [unless you want a defect].  Simply accept the case and refund.  @gromitandwallace
