Returns case proof not even looked at

I have had a buyer clearly abuse the returns system and I provided all the evidence to prove that they lied however the case has gone against me and eBay has refunded the buyer without even looking at the evidence. Where is the seller protection?? Absolutely fuming.

The buyer claimed that the jeans weren't 36" waist and not stretch jeans. The photos provided clearly show that they are. The evidence is clear and yet eBay didn't look at this.
