Returning item that I got by instant message

I have a dispute with a seller and eBay ruled in my favour that I am eligible for a refund if I send it back but as I got the item ( a voucher pass) by instant message how do I return it.

you cannot and that's why there's no real buyer protection for digitally delivered items and they cannot be sold on eBay.

The system is if you have won an item not as described case the seller has to provide a returns pre-paid label.

Once the eBay case is closed you could try a PayPal case as they cover some digitally delivered items.
