Report price gouging

I am trying to report some items for price gouging but the category is missing from the dropdown when I try to file the report.

It seems to be missing for certain listings. Why is this and how do I make my report?

It would help to provide an answer if you said what  you wanted to report.

Price Gouging was only introduced last year as a reason to report because of the abuse of prices of Sanitizer. 

Many of the reasons now that members want to report are not appropriate as it is up to members toshop around. There are very few ESSENTIAL items now that are in short supply and when it comes to MUST HAVES at any price that comes down to buyers choice to pay high prices.

Actually, that is just your interpretation of the function.I've checked and the reporting of price gouging is not restricted to hand sanitiser or PPE according to the ebay blurb.For example, I can report price gouging for SKIS but not certain items of furniture or games consoles.

Some sellers inflate price when out of stock to keep listing active. Sellers can put what ever price they want, no one has to pay it, if there are lots of similar items at lower price, up to buyers to do their research.

price gouging can only be reported for essential items,

ebay don't get involved in the pricing of non essential items

Are ties essential?Are video doorbells essential?Are skis essential?I can report price gouging for all of the above.
