Refunded buyer excess postage ... Now unable to flag items as despatched, etc

Buyer bought 2 items on separate sales ... so I refunded buyer 1 set of postage before sending  as both could be sent in one package for same cost as one.

Now unable mark items as despatched, leave feefback, contact buyer, etc, etc or have any other interaction.... ☹️☹️☹️☹️🤬

Yes,  that is correct send a partial refund,  and aftewards you cannot mark as dispatched.  Just message the buyer that the item has been posted,  add any tracking / 16 digit numbers you have.

 

It is not mandatory to mark as dispatched,  agree it's annoying not to be able to so,  but do not worry on this score.
