Refund onto card that’s expired

How do I obtain a refund from a seller when the card I paid on had now been cancelled?

What sort of card? If you have had a card replaced that would make no difference, Debit Card goes back to Bank account and takes 7 days, Credit Card goes back to card account and takes 30 days. So long as you have not closed the Bank Account or the Credit Card account it makes no difference. (The basic Account Numbers would be changed)

If however you have closed the accounts then refund will no doubt go back to seller and you will have to work out with him how to get a refund.

Hi,

I paid on a credit card, had it stolen so they’re sending me a new one. The refund through eBay will be due in a week so I was making sure it went back to the appropriate place
