  • Please ensure your carbon monoxide detector meets the relevant safety standards, including UL2034 in the US and Australia and EN50291 in Europe.{e56546-1017435x}"

Hi

Firstly if you have not already done so you need to upgrade your account to a Business one.

IF you are not actually based in China you are dropshipping from China.

Are you trying to drop ship these carbon monoxide detectors from China?

If yes then they must be up to the appropriate safety standards..hence the message you are getting.

First thing you need to do is REGISTER AS A BUSINESS SELLER

You cannot sell new items on eBay as a private seller....it is both illegal & fee avoidance

Second.....you are apparently drop shipping from China........that may in fact be illegal under GDPR as you are passing a customers private information (name & address) onto a 3rd party which is not permitted under GDPR without the express consent of your customer

Finally you are selling goods direct from China....the home of the counterfeit......selling these items means you are acting as the importer of goods which have probably never been tested to meet the majority of global safety standards (no matter what the 3rd party that you purchase from states)............you are therefore putting customer lives at risk

Does your item meet the required standard?

If it does perhaps write this in the description or the condition.  Sorry no idea what UL2034 is,  whtever it is,  perhaps there is your stumbling block.

If it is not self explanatory,  then you would need to call eB ay Customer  Support from the Help & Contact tab above,  when the lines open at 8 a.m.
