Photo sent in messages directs to USA homepage in the app.

A seller I purchased from cancelled the deal, said they had ran out of stock, but it was a good deal and I don't believe they wanted to sell it and honour the price. It was new and buy it now.

I complain to them and still await a refund. eBay messages saying it was being processed.

I contact seller and they send me a photo, maybe a screenshot, but when I click on the photo, it takes me to eBay USA homepage because it's all in dollars. The photo is a link? It's my homepage but in dollars? This should be photo of proof of refund.

All this happens in the app, from messages. 

Are they scamming me? Why would a photo take me to my homepage but in dollars?

You are in Spain and on the Uk site

You need to sign out and then sign back into the site for Spain or

ebay.com

Then ask your question there.

If you do not receive your item then open a not received dispute  you have 30 days to open the dispute.

Try going through a browser instead of the app
