Paying with bank transfer

My seller has no PayPal, and I can't pay with card on eBay as there account won't allow me,  am I still covered if the item is not what it states? Like if it's faulty or worn etc??

NO. You are only covered if you pay using the methods shown on the listing. It is up to seller to accept these in some form or other.

 

Paying by Bank Transer should only be used to pay money to someone you know and TRUST, as it is giving money away and is NOT reversible.

 

If seller is not competent enough to understand that he does not need to have a Paypal account, as all money now goes through Ebay Managed Payments and that includes using Cards. If you have bought, go to the ebay Check Out Page and just Pay however you wish. I find that Paypalm is the easiest  way to pay still.

 

You don't say what you have bought or the value, but Bank Transfers are the choice of Scammers, and once you have paid you will hear no more.
