An item that I have just bought, namely a bicycle freewheel was listed using stock pictures of a high quality item manufactured by Shimano. The Shimano branding is clear in the pictures. The item listing mentioned the Shimano part number but did not claim that the item was the one shown in the pictures in the listing.
The item that has been received is a cheap and nasty copy of the original made by some unknown manufacturer.
Does this behaviour breach Ebay's policies and is the seller guilty of misrepresentation?
Hi
Pictures form part of the description . If the pictures show a genuine item and you receive a cheapo copy then it is definitely not as described.
