Parcel Delivered but customer says not received

Hi

A parcel send through INpost was delivered on 24th June 2021, but customer now says not received, I am just beginer into ebay selling, please advise how to deal with this kind of issue with customer and the parcel company.

If you have tracking that shows that the item has been delivered, have you added the tracking to the listing and/or the case details? If you have not done so then do so now.

Has the buyer opened a case against you in the Resolution Centre? No case opened, then no refund.

Tracking that shows delivered is the only defence sellers have against ‘Not Received’ cases. Tracking that shows delivered should close the case automatically in your favour and you will not need to refund.

If you do not have tracking then refund in full within three days, which is when the buyer can escalate the case to eBay.

Always add tracking to ebay when marking as posted, that way buyer & ebay can see delivery status.

If buyer claims not received, as long as tracking shows it is, you are OK, add tracking to case.

If not delivered, you have 3 days to prove it or refund buyer through case.
