Hello all,
I have recently bought a motherboard to build a PC, the seller showed pictures and listed it as nearly new only been in a system for a short time, it was the perfect purchase for me.
I received the motherboard, checked it over for the mostpart and went on to search for the rest of the parts on ebay. When I came to build it (at this point it was just over the 30 days) I opened the CPU to find that the cover was jammed in under when it should have been clipped over the top to protect the pins inside.
The original listing did say no returns.. I absolutely agree when someone does this and I do this myself.. but this was damaged by the seller (albeit quite possibly by accident) so, I am down a motherboard and the buyer doesnt want to have anything to do with me.. am i wrong in being a little annoyed about this? I bought the motherboard as working - not as parts / not working.. Obviously ebay cant step in now as it passed the 30 days..
I just wanted some advice really, I have been on ebay since 2002 and always give my all selling to others i just feel I wasnt given a chance to explain to the buyer...
thanks all,
You only had 30 days to open ebay case, so too late.
Try paypal case, escalate after 2 days.
