Why is it that under the new managed system where processing fees are deducted from sale before transfer to account I am still paying a monthly PayPal fee as well?
You never paid a monthly paypal fee, they deducted their fees before paying you.
This is what ebay do now, NO paypal fees,
you used to pay paypal 2.9% + 30p
now ebay now charge 12.8% + 30p, so 0.1% cheaper.
No mpre monthly ebay invoice.
Your PayPal Fees are from the weeks before you moved onto Managed Payments.
It is most likely fees that were not paid before you went onto managed payments
Are you actually paying each month or are you just getting invoiced
Check the invoice you receive there is a link to Veiw invoice and see what the payment is for
