Managed payments

I have concerns about managed payments. The delay in receiving payments and paying for postage before eBay has finally paid the sellers money.

I know a lot of my mates who have used ebay will no longer sell on ebay as marketplace and other sites won't be messing about with payments. 

For me, I will not accept managed payments so  therefore  my account will be terminated when this becomes obligatory. 

Somebody convince me otherwise.
