Hi all,
I've received an MC 139 alert for an item I sold on ebay tonight, stating that the account may have been used without the owner's permission & the listing had been cancelled. This was after the item was paid for via paypal.
Prior to payment, I had a query through ebay beforehand from the buyer about the item, which was consistent with the item I had listed, which I answered via ebay.
I then received payment via paypal & the money is now in my account. I still have the item.
Bit puzzled tbh, as the transaction seemed legit to me, but obviously not from ebay.
I assume I will need to reverse payment via paypal (& not send it, obvs!)?
Never had this before so any advice gratefully recieved!
