Hi,
Can anybody please help me? I sold an item on the 24/12/20 and a couple of hours later I received a message from Ebay stating that the buyer was no longer registered with ebay.
I checked paypal and the buyer has made payment under a new name with his old user name in brackets next to it. In the Suspicious Buyer message it also said about relisting and setting up immediate payment option. Now, my questions are: Is the seller trying to scam me somehow? The payment's there and I don't know whether to send the item or not. I've been trying to contact ebay by phone, but the UK number is just a message saying to go to seller help! I don't want to cancel the sale until I know it's the right thing to do. Also, on the video on Youtube, it says to use the drop down menu by the side of the sold item and select cancel item, but when I checked, there was no drop down menu! I'm a new seller as you can probably tell, and I just don't want to make a mistake with this situation that I've never had before. Also, can you select immediate payment option on listings that are already active? Or can you only select that option when making a new listing? Or, as a new seller with only 17 sales so far, is this not enough to qualify for immediate payments?
Can somebody please advise me, because I'm totally confused and pulling out what little hair I've got left!
Many thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Neil
