Item refund

I've recently returned an item to a seller

As it was different from the item listed, they agreed the return and have confirmed they have received it, on asking when I would get my refund they said ebay had already deducted it from their account, I have not had the refund and have checked my PayPal account its not there either, not too sure what to do next as eBay help page doesn't seem to cover this

I paid via PayPal, but have had nothing from ebay or PayPal confirming anything pending

How did you pay?

Refunds go back to the source.

Refunds to PayPal are usually quite fast but can take or two to show in your account.

Refunds to a debit card can take 7 days to show in your account.

A refund to a credit card can take 30 days to show in your account.
