Item did not sell despite 17 bids help?!

Hi there.. I auctioned an item 7 days ago and there have been 17 bids. It is now saying "sorry your item did not sell" and I'm not sure why? Can anyone advise please?

it's a well known glitch, give it an hour or so, it should then show in your sold items

What was the item? You have nothing showing with 17 bids.
