Your buyer received a broken item so the ' No Return ' on your listing is invalid. They need to be fully refunded.
Ask your buyer to open a case for item not as described in the Resolution centre. If you want the item back first, you have to pay for a fully tracked return postage.
Fully refund through those case details and within 3 days, or within 48 hours after eBay inform you the item was posted back.
Your seller fee is refunded, and your seller performance no affected.
You can then try and claim compensation for yourself, for the damage caused from the courier used. Your buyer needs to be refunded first here.
