Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with how to follow up on a complaint I had with what I've found was the rudest and most arrogant customer service rep I've ever dealt with.
In the space of a 4 minute call he interrupted me constantly and even mocked my intelligence by stating that if I saw a link online stating all eBay users can have £1000 that I'd instantly believe it. I've never been spoken to in that manner. When I then informed him I won't be spoken to in that manner and I said I wanted to speak to his supervisor he refused and said I would have to wait around 24 hours for a call from the supervisor.
I will refuse to let this drop and would like to know how I can get my complaint heard and action taken against that member of staff as I've never dealt with anyone in customer service who acted like that, any help that can be provided in who to take the complaint to will be great.
Thanks
You are probably wasting your time and even if you get a supervisor they probably would take no action.
If you really want to complain then write to the address on the user agreement at the bottom of the page.
Some have been known to put the phone down
I have not had it with ebay but did with another firm. It is not the kind of service you expect from big firms.
