On 3 May I reported to seller that item not received. Delivery was estimated as 30 April. Tracking by Hermes showed it was still IN TRANSIT to the local courier, and still does! Then I got a scam text - seller told me to click the link but I knew it was not right, so I said no. He contacted Hermes who agreed it was a scam, parcel last shown as being at their depot in Liverpool. I agreed to wait a couple of days while they investigated. I have now asked for a refund, it's not been located/delivered. Now I have an email from EBAY customer support, saying it is pending while they get more infromation and they say they have sent me an email asking for more information, and that I have to reply by May 11. I haven't received any request for information, cannot email them back, cannot find a phone number............what do I do????
I have now asked for a refund
But HOW did you ask for it? The correct procedure would have been to open a case under eBay's money back guarantee.
If so, eBay normally doesn't even discuss it - they just go by the tracking number, and refund you if the item is overdue ans still not delivered.
If eBay contacted you there should be a message in your eBay messages - have you checked?
