I purchased an item from a seller whose communications have been franky aweful.
Ultimately the seller agreed the item was faulty and offered a full refund (even told me the refund had been processed.
3 weeks on and nothing.
The item was a small hdmi splitter and the seller offered refund without need to return item. As such I binned the broken item when they said the refund had been actioned.
Now they are saying thay cannot refund me as I didn't pay via PayPal and they cannot refund direct to my card used as my eBay payment option - sounds totally dodgy to me!
However, now they ask me to initialte an eBay return!
I want to create a case against this seller as it's clear from this experiance (and looking back at some negative feedback) that this is something they do to people when the items they send are faulty or not upto standard.
Any help - please.
you can open an eBay not as described case, but you would be expected to return the item in order to get a refund.
