How do I mark a collected item as despatched in latest system please?

I want to mark a collected item as despatched, however latest system won't let me. It asks for a 6 digit code that I dont seem to have.

ebay have introduced these codes without actually telling anyone about them!

if you are the seller the buyer is supposed to show you the code on their phone,

you can bypass the need for a code by using the full site, not the app

use the drop down menu next to the item and mark it as paid and dispatched

I made the mistake of just using the app. After firing up.my pc the suggested solution worked easily thanks. Many thanks to all of you who gave up your time to help me!

QR scan/code is only useful to confirm collection/delivery if both parties are using Apps/mobiles, otherwise the Seller needs to go to More Actions to mark as paid and despatched/collected/delivered >>> For information >

Cash payment (or cleared Bank Transfer) is safest and best for collection items = Immediate payment >> so with cash in hand ... No 21 day payment holds, PayPal fees, need for scans/codes or risk of later Chargebacks/disputes/refund requests etc. ...

Always check PayPal  for payment progress and messages eg. Held/ Pending/ OK/ Safe to send etc. only to the address given there etc. >

You mark as dispatched exactly as before.

The codes only work if both buyer and seller are using the Ebay App. If neither yof ou are or only one then it can't be used.
