How can I confirm I've received an item?

Hi. I picked up an item in person after paying online with my bank. However the seller is saying pay pal won't release his funds until there is acknowledgement of the item being delivered. There is no tracking information for him to give them as it wasnt posted. Is there anything I can do to help him? Thank you.

They can mark it as Dispatched and you can leave feedback

They may have to wait the 21 days

Collection items should really be cash on collection

You can leave feedback, may help, otherwise seller will have to wait 21 days before ebay relwase money.
