You will have been paid only the UK postage for the item. Pitney Bowes, who operate the GSP, will have received the part of the buyer's payment that covers the overseas postage and their charges.

So you are only expected to post the item to the address in the UK. But is the buyer doesn't receive the item after you have sent it safely to the GSP hub it will be Pitney Bowes's responsibility to refund the buyer.

Here's the eBay help page which explains it all.

It's all very simpe, the seller sends the item to the shipping depot and the shipping depot froward it on on your behalf

what aren't you happy with?

you've sold your item through the Global Shipping Program

this means you send the item to the UK GSP postage depot in Litchfield, and they then send the item to the buyer.

That's how GSP works.   The seller posts to the UK depot and they forward it to the buyer.
