Hi I recently bought a second charger cable for my motorbike to replace what I thought was broken but found out that it was a loose wire which I have sorted , the seller has declined my return request for the new one but it states I'm covered by ebay money back guarantee? How does this work?
If it was private seller, they don't have to accept change of mind returns.
If business seller, they do, but you pay return tracked postage.
Try selling it yourself, you may make a profit.
The MBG protects buyers if they receive faulty goods as they can be returned free of charge for a full refund.
It doesn't cover 'change of mind' returns which youurs, basically, is.
Only business sellers are duty bound to accept returns for any reason, while private sellers who have 'no returns' on their listings, are not.
Read the Ebay MBG link on all listings.
