Card details associated wit PayPal disappeared

Hi!

My main card that was linked to my PayPal has disappeared, I have no idea why!?

I am trying to add that card to PayPal but towards the end I get a message that this is or may not be secure!  I am therefore unable to proceed with using my eBay account, how do I go about resolving this and WHY has this happened?

Is the Card near it's Expiry Date?  It needs to have at least Six Months  left on it.  You could Contact PayPal and ask them what the issue is.
