Cancelled order but no refund

Hi All

think this one has fallen into the crackes somewhere...... put in an order for a socket set, then decided to cancel the order a day or so later(slap head) item did not arrive and no refund given back. I then went to see if i could do something within the ebay/paypal sites and just went round and round in circles until we end up here,  me tying this out and you reading my waving a digital stick at something-thanks for that.

Have you looked at the PAID £ symbol, if a refund has been starte then it will have changed to the refunded symbol. Refunds go back to source so method of payment determines how long it takes.

Is the item actually cancelled, as if so that should have generated a refund, depending on how the seller dealt with it and reason used.

If it was a private seller then there is on right to cancel. If it was a business seller they might already have sent it off.  If that happens then you can "return" it through the resolution centre [your postage cost]. 

If you have not had a refund [and it is not instant] then you open a "non-receipt" case in the resolution centre. 

If it is a business seller you could try phoning through the details on the listing
